I entered the field of psychology with a passion for assisting others to improve their lives. I realized how possible this was from my own experience with growth and development! My belief is that everyone has what it takes to make improvements, but often needs an outside perspective and assistance from a professional. My primary goal as a therapist is to provide all of my clients with this possibility.
I have a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and Counselor Education from the University of Colorado, Denver. I am also a National Certified Counselor (NCC), a Certified Addictions Counselor Level three (Senior Addiction Counselor - CACIII), and a Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP). I have a Bachelor of Science in Communications from the University of Illinois Champaign - Urbana.
I have worked with a wide range of clients and their concerns in a private practice setting, university / community clinic, Employee Assistance Program, and Colorado State Board of Nursing alternative to discipline program.
